Book the Band!

In a live setting the trio require very little from the venue. One 3 pin 13 amp socket, three square yards of space and a reasonable supply of oxygen. They use two amps, two guitars, two maracas and two drums. Most importantly everybody sings and they do not use a PA.

Fundamentally Lord Rochester is one of the easiest bands to put on, they turn up on time, have a very short soundcheck, have the best looking guitars and are decked out in tartan.

All songs on this waxing (OK, it's a CD on the Twenty Stone Blatt label) are written by the trio and all are recorded using whatever came to hand – ranging from vintage valve Revox’s to Russian Ribbon mics.

The lucky 13 songs on HEY! trip off the tongue – "I tried to send a monkey by UPS", "Hey Little Jermyn" "Godzilla", "Seasick", "Timber" and the chirpy "Deathbed" to name but a few.
